I’ve learned today even if your related if your sibling doesn’t want to be a part of your life you cant force the issue. It’s just truly sad that they’ll miss out on knowing a great person.

When I was a kid, I saw myself up on stage, singing and entertaining. But as I grew up, I put away those silly dreams. Now…I am a gleek. Living vicariously through those kids for an hour every week.

I knew if I worked hard I would finely get my promotion. It took two years of not knowing what was going on. I took classes at work. I did everything but, walk my bosses dog. Anything that would help. I really wanted this job. It worked.

Grown children

When do your children stop being children? I ask myself everyday. We love our kids, but we want them to leave us alone. If we as parents would have put our foot down at the door they would not still be knocking on our door asking what’s for dinner.

When others make mistakes, we blame them. When we make mistakes, it’s always something or someone else’s fault. Next time to see someone make a mistake, consider that everyone is doing the best they can with what they have.

50 and downhill

I have always heard that once you hit 50 it is all downhill from there. My goodness, it seems to be true. A few months before hitting 50, everything medically went wrong with my body. I just hope after hitting 50 things start to go back uphill !!!

Friends are like a dollar in your pocket. Unless you are able to trust them and be trusted they are not true friends. Friends will be there for you through all the good and the bad; they will not lie to you only tell you the truth for the better.
